This is fun, but I'm struggling with controls a bit. The button layout is great now that keyboard's in, but I find that sometimes when using the up- or diagonal-dash, if I have pressed up just before x I will just dash straight, often off a cliff or into spikes. Makes it much harder to do jump-dash-freeze combos.
Other than that, the gameplay is fun, the style is excellent, adn keeping carrots upon death is *chef's kiss* lovely. You did great work making this!

looks interesting but its way too awkward to play on a laptop with the controls as they are - why not use a key instead of the mouse ?
